Arrow Info on Sears generator

HELP; I have a sears 5000 watt gen. that I need manuels for, the only numbers I can find are on the gen. 580-328250 it has a 1cyl 357cc engine no name such as tec. or briggs on it. It is a little unique that it has a oil resevoir to add oil to motor if it gets low also has hook up to run off tank gas or extra remote tank. I would like to know who made this for sears? and where I might find info about it.:wav THANKS GUYS Tom

Tom-

Go to the Sears web site and click on Parts. Then search by model number, using 580.328250. If you are lucky, an owners manual will be available that has information on both the generator and engine.

The 580 is Sears' source code for Generac. You will note that many parts are listed as discontinued by Sears. However, they may still be available through other sources, since Sears uses the Generac part numbers. (Sometimes you have to add "GS" to the end of the part number, as a result of Briggs & Stratton's purchase of Generac's portable generator division.)

I recently purchased parts for my Sears generator from a local Generac dealer.

B&S bought Generac's generators up through 12.5 KW I think. The engine may be a Generac engine.
