Default Any idea of value?

My friend owns this little Merklin (?) double piston steam tractor. It appears to be in perfect condition except for a little surface rust on the flywheels. All the burner parts are also in near perfect condition. As far as I can tell only the drive belt or pulley is missing. The stack folds down into a retaining clip. He doesn't want to sell it but having only this one old toy his great uncle left to him he'd like some idea of its value and I certainly can't be any help with this. Thanks for the help guys.

Beautiful toy. The drive belts are continuous loop springs which are available, especially on Toy Steam Engine sites. The originals were much heavier but the new one will work.

Glad it is not for sale since I am broke.

Hi,
very rare Märklin Tractor made by Gebr. Märklin & Cie (GM&C) in Göppingen/Germany. Type unknown but similare to Plank No.500/1, made from 1902 to 1903. Up of condition I think 2000 to 4000 USD or more.
With kindly regards
Harald

I have an Ideal toy steam engine, D.R.G.M. 193033 which I think is an Ernst Plank engine. Does anyone have any information and value for this engine?
