HELP! Le Roi gas engine-Water cooled

I'm looking for a manual for a model XRP204 Le Roi Milwaukee gas engine. also parts. This engine is a four cylinder flat head currently running my log splitter. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Apparently missed your post when it came on...can't really help except with a little (very little!) info...
Only listing in my stuff that I have indexed so far:
1940 King Products catalog shows X,XP,XRP with same ring, piston and pin assembly; rings not in stock, but pin, lock and bushing were. Not even listed in valves or bearing section.
BUT--BUT:
39 Hastings catalog lists TWO sets of specs:
One for X,XF,XR,XRF and XRP engines; these have different ring specs from the King listing;
One for X,XF,XR,XRF,XP and XRP; these specs match the King.
Neither has any "early/late, CI/Al" or any other note. I can send specs if you want/need them.
The story goes that when Wauk bought LeRoi they destroyed all the stocks of parts and literature for the little engines, to get the engines off the market, replaced hopefully by Wauks; the bigger ones became Wauk Roiline.
For advice, have you tried Ed Malcolm, "the LeRoi man" who posts here?
Tried putting a want on EBay??
If you'll advise who you've tried for obsolete parts, I may be able to suggest others; they've not been mentioned as having LeRoi parts, but there aren't that many people looking, either... Good luck Bud
