Some hardware stores still carry them. Don't try the big chain stores because the clerks probably won't even know what you are talking about. Check some antique stores, particularly the older ones that have been around for a while. The smaller knife switches are still available, but the larger ones are more rare.

Lowes has two kinds. Single blade and dual blade. I think they are about 3" long but probably plastic base

There is a place here in Dayton, OH called Mendelson's that specializes in all kinds of surplus stuff. I don't know their URL, but the phone number is (937) 461-3525. Some of their stuff can be pricey; but, if they ain't got it, you don't need it.
