I had two cast out of brass and they look/work excellent!! This is no "show" truck, it's a nicely fixed up grain truck, so this solution may not be for everyone. The guy that did the casting for me said more would be cheap and easy, so if you're interested, let me know. There was some machine work and work with a file to get the square hole, the "knob" took a little imagination too. The cost would be around $20 each, rough cast. I'd want to be reimbursed only what he charges to cast them plus postage to get them to you. I'd provide the pattern and do the leg work for nothing.

P.S. Mine is a 1930, don't know if they're the same!
