Default Another "big one" and wife's mad!

Why do I have to find massive hunks of iron? I went back to where I found the tinsmith's stake anvil(?) today looking for old buzz coil and antique engines or parts. Didn't see a thing but this huge swage block partially hidden by scrape metal which the old gentleman said was shortly going to the scrap yard. At first he didn't want to sell finally he said if I'd help him get it out he'd sell it. Of course it was raining and the two of us couldn't lift it to get in in the truck of my car so I came home and drove my tractor with loader to the swages location and we were able to crowbar it into the bucket. This is 17" square and 5-1/2" tall. What am I going to do with it??..same as with everything else I drag home..sell or trade it off.

Suggestion: find an active online blacksmith's forum and post a picture with "best offer".....then be prepared to fend off the replies. It's a swage block and I believe fairly desireable, so you might recoup your funds, take the wife out to dinner and STILL have enough for starting another engine fund!
