Ain't done never see'd a 2-cycle 2-banger vertical hopper cooled engine nohow.

It's got a governor so it must not be some kind of oddball marine engine (especially with the hopper).

Let us know if you find out whatcha got.

You sure that thing isn't just a large two cylinder compressor? Still has the makings of a good engine though......

Hi - know that the engine was used with a saw mill, it has 2 carbs and 2 spark plugs. The pulley is 12" across and is keyed to crank, bottom of air intake manifold has raised numbers reading 126. BPumphrey

iv look for and at everything i can think of anywhere else to look, i keep coming up with perkins, i dont know, we need unidentified engine list, and in time we migth come across the maker,and be able to identify some rare engines, ill make a post to see what harry thinks,

What's the tag that shows in the first close up photo? It says 240W RMS or something to that effect. Is it part of the engine?

Hopper looks remeniscent of that used by Sandow. Have you a close up of the carb/intake?

amerunit, I think that would be a card board box for stereo equipment 240 Watts RMS.
