Horse-Powered Hercules Stump Puller
I have an old Hercules No.2 stump puller that is in pretty good shape for its age. It was manufactured in Centerville, Iowa. I would like to learn more about it. Does anyone know how old it might be, how much it could pull, operating instructions, value, or anything at all about it?

I'm originally from the Centerville area and happened to be there this week for Thanksgiving. While there I went thru the local museum. They had one of the Hercules pullers and quite a few pictures of one in use. Next time I'm down I'll see if I can take some pictures of their photograghs.
