Picked 4 engines up at an auction today. Cant seem to figure out who made this steam roller. There is part of some wording on it but all i can read of it is "Heis" Was wondering if you guys know. And also maybe an identification of the toy stationary in the middle in pic #4, Its on a cast iron base so its an older one.

Fleishman perhaps? The other engine looks like a Weeden, but I believe Bing sold a nearly identical model. I think most of the Weedens of that style were painted red instead of black, and usually have the name embossed on the boiler. If it's a Bing, there should be a G.B.N. mark somewhere on the engine.

the steam roller is a Fleischmann, Germany, Type 155-1 from 1954. The Bing engine is a 70/120, Germany, dating from 1925-1932. Similare to Weeden No. 14. And at last the Wilesco Atom-Kraftwerk (Atomic Reactor). Hope this will help. Greetings from Hamburg Harald |

The steam roller is definitely a Fleishman. (see attached pictures)
The one in the center is, I believe a Bing. I don't thinkd that Weeden did had an oiler in the steam line from the boiler to the cylinder. The one on the far right is a Weeden. |
