4.0 BFA 1R/16004A info

I'm new to working with generators I'm a tractor builder, I had a 4.0 BFA given to me this weekend and the man said it was running fine one day and just would'nt start the next. I tested the coil checked all the wiring now I need to try to start it but I have many questions first. Does this gen have a fuel pump or does it need fuel feed to it, is there any querks about this gen that I could use to help me get this thing ruuning. what do the points set at, and the coil was off of it when I picked it up I want to make sure I have all the connections correct. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Points at 20 plugs at 25 If I remember correctly. Fixing to leave will have more later. I should be in Bryan later this week send me your add
