my grandpa's got a schebler model r and is wondering what it fits?

thanks craig, is their anyone else who knows what elses these carbs may fit, we were told it fit a john deere gp, we would also like to know if that is true or not.

If you're talking about the GP's that started in 1927 Ensign carbs were used.
The other lettered series used Schebler carbs designed just for Deere.
No John Deere has ever used such a carburetor Jordan.......

They will also fit a WW1 era 4 cyl. 40 HP Continental model E engine, as used in Linn tractors, I bought one at a flea market because of that, which the seller indicated came off a marine engine of some kind. Kind of a big paperweight but the old brass updraft carb looks good on the shelf.

Attached pic of my brass "R". They did export a few Linns to Ontario of this vintage but the export North really didn't take off until Mussens Ltd of Montreal became their sole Canadian distributor in 1921.
