I am working on a ColdWell Cub Mower that was brought into a friends Mower Repair Shop. When checking the crankcase I cannot determine how the piston, cam, rod bearing & ect. get oil. Does anyone know if there is suppose to be a oil dipper on the rod. See attached photo. Thanks in advance, Wayne

If you pull the cam cover off you will see that it has an oil pump that sends oil to a disc on the crank. Centrifical force pushes the oil into the bearing. The mains are roller bearings. There is plenty of oil splashing around in the crankcase for them.
