Default 3hp IH M

Can somebody go out to their garage & measure the length of the ex. valve adj. screw on their 3hp & post it so I can start with the correct length for my adjustment? I think this one's been chopped off as I'm getting very little lift when CLOSE adjustment properly done. Just need threaded length. Thanks a bunch.

Bob, I went out to measure my "M". Discovered that I have replacement valves with cap and pin. However, I did measure from the end of the valve stem to where it first enters the head. (1-3/16") I hope this helps, but wouldn't put a lot of trust in comparing a replacement unit with original equipment. Dave in Holt.

Bob-It's the intake valve that is supposed to be threaded. Don't have this measurement with me but maybe 1 1/4" of thread on it.

Bob, if you mean the adjustment screw that sits in the exhaust valve lever, it has a 1 7/8" long thread.
