Default Horse Drawn Potato Digger

Just looking at the post of the horse drawn potato planter and thought you might like to see a potato digger being used at a local show. After the show the potatoes were given to anyone who wanted to pick them.

Beautiful pair of Belgians, I love to watch horse drawn machinery being worked by an expert.
One time we had gone to an amish harness shop to get some leatherwork done and I was sitting on the porch, it was an outbuilding on a farm, and watched a young man with a single belgian horse work with a dirt bucket, he leveled a six foot high pile of gravel, spreading it around where the ground had worn away through a gate. Amazing how they can work so closely with the horses.
I'd love to see that tater digger up close, do you know how it works? Do you have any other pictures from that day?
thanks for posting..

This is closer view of the potato digger during a short break. I don't know much about it, just that it looked quite interesting.
There were other demonstrations that day, plowing with horses for example.
