Gas powered forge
How or where do I set up a small forge that is not coal powered. It won't get a lot of use but here in town coal is not an option.
I would mostly heat rods. Thanks.

John, do a websearch for gas forges. There is a ton of info out there. They are relatively easy to build, using from coffee cans to 50 gal drums and everything in between.
A burner can be built for less than $20 , so you can be underway for less than $50. Quote:
