Default 12 HP center crank Case traction engine

I good friend bought a 1894? CASE 12 Hp center crank traction engine. It has the cast lattice work. The serial number is 4952. He would like to know where there are any center crank traction engines. It is in Jack Norbeck’s book on page 92.
Thanks

I'm pretty sure I remember seeing one at Tuckahoe some years back. But I don't know who's it was. Is that the one you know of Mike?

The Midwest Old Threshers have/had a Case center crank engine; number unknown.

The Henry Ford Museum has center crank #4265

The Rynda family has center crank #5103

Dennis Christiansen had center crank #5725; is that the one Ken has?

Zeger has/had a 1894 center crank engine; is that one your friend has, Mike?

The Western Development Museum has compound center crank engine #6559

Paul Amstrong has an 1897 center crank engine; number unknown

There is the remains (just a boiler and a few attached castings) of a Case center crank compound that is/was on the grounds of a closed museum in Saratoga, TX.

1892 Case center crank portable. Engine missing. It was a center crank. Photo taken at my dad's farm in Wisconsin 1979. My grandpa's estate auction was in Goshen, Indiana sold to someone in Michigan 1995. Has sold serial number tag on dome. I don't remember the #. I have to dig the sale flyer. Front smoke box door has eagle cast in.

First photo ... early center crank engine pull 12 or 15 hp later model out of water creek. Note there is a man sitting while fishing. . Sold on ebay

Second photo as it described above.

Craig,
Some years ago, you gave me the number from grandpa Manford Detweiler's engine as #5935.

Tanner,
I have on file, #2315 near Onalaska, WA. Is that apt to be the same one?
chuck

I also have #4317 as being near Brooks, Or. and it was expected to be running at the Brooks, OR show in 1990. (See The Heritage Eagle #11, page 48)

I also have #6703 near Cresson, TX in 1965 (see IMA Nov/Dec 1965, page 32)
