Charbo-

Go to the sears web site and click on PartsDirect. Enter 58031891 in the model number box. You will then be able to select several sub-assemblies of your generator. It is possible that one of the illustrations has connection data.

The 580 in your model number refers to Generac, which is now owned by Briggs & Stratton. Parts listed at the Sears web site may not be available from Sears, but the part numbers are Generac, and you should be able to obtain them from other sources. (Sometimes you have to add "GS" at the end of the number.)

Charbo.
The #22 wire is one of the power wires that come from your stator. If it is a single voltage type power winding you will have one marked 22 which is red and #11 which should be blue. If its a dual voltage you'll also have a lead marked #44 which should be gray.
Hope this helps Good Luck Jim
