HELP!-- i bought a few boxes of old carbs. a while back, this one was in the one box. the tag has THE AIR FRICTION CARBURETTER CO. ( spelling on tag )DAYTON,OHIO patented 1912--1915 . Carb seems to be made of alum. or pot metal w/ brass hardware.looks like a model T needle adjusting screw has 2 port holes w/ celluloid or mica windows which unscrew. can't find NOTHING on this carb. ok fellows its home work time. was it auto, truck,tractor,stationary or experimental ----Bob Green

BOB this is an auto or marine carb as it has a long throttle arm dont know what it fits but my guess is a car dave wachter

Bob,
If the bolt holes are 2 1/8" on center, it will fit a Model T Ford. These were popular aftermarket carbs and were made to fit many vehicles. Most of the time you will find the Model T variety. I have three of them on the shelf right now.

Thanks Mike, bolt holes are 2 1/8 " on center , needle adjustment knob gave me a hint as to being model t. mystery solved. Great site!!! More knowledge being preserved!
