Long story short... Had a Euro 220v D32el, saw this one on evil-Bay, a US 115v; had to have it. Sold old engine, bought new engine. 'Nuff said. Hope to steam it on Sunday! :-)

Thanks, Paul. FWIW, since I have a Wilesco D141 Werkstatt (Workshop) that has both the table saw and drill press, I've listed them on evil-Bay for sale. See auctions 330301349882 and 330301350474. I'm keeping the dynamo to mount on the D32 and want to get a light stand for it instead of the regular light bulb.

I did steam this engine and found that, unless you've got a heck of a load on it, it makes =lots= of steam, and in a hurry! I'm going to get a Variac voltage controller so I can turn it down to a more manageable level. I really need to get my carnival layout put together to get at least a little bit of a load on it. :-)
