Default Who made this engine?

I'm trying to find someone who can help me identify this engine. There is a serial number imprinted in the cast. It is 771802. There is a round Yellow circle that looks like it could have been some kind of logo but the center is worn off and I don't know whose logo that would be. I'd be interested in knowing anything about it including availability of parts or value or how old it would be.

Thanks

richard, what you have is a late model fairbanks-morse "z" throttle governed engine. this engine is enlosed & is a wet sump engine as the internals run in oil. I belive parts are available from some of our sponsers on the buisness card section of this site. these are nice running engines. regards, scott

1934 Fairbanks ZstyleC. Three horse, throttle governor. Great running engines and parts are plentiful. Looks to be complete from pictures.
