Anyone know the name of this horizontal?


There are two of these in our club storage shed but no one can put a name to it.:shrug: I plan to...

Photo Anyone know the name of this horizontal?

There are two of these in our club storage shed but no one
can put a name to it. I plan to get this one running this year.
Has a tag that says B.H.P 2 Class PR
No. 160577
Revs.per min. 650
Any info greatly appreciated.

BHP mean British Horse power !
seam to use a Wico high tension mag.
could be a British made for Commonwealt market just as a Apple top Peter or a National i saw in province of Quebec in Canada
both with a Wico KE Mag
i higly recommand to save all your fasteners probly Withwort threads !

The engine in question is a Ruston Hornsby APR manufactured in Lincoln England.
