Here's a shot of a typical potato digger. Is this what you had in mind? This one is a pretty scarce Emerson Brantingham digger. Hoover/ John Deere and IHC seem to be the most prevalent examples. Aspinwall, Dowden and Champion are others you might happen on. Hope this helps.

Nice E-B. They were not too common, but I know of two more within an hour of Rockton, west of Beloit. Not for sale...
I am in need of a good spud plucker, so have seen the ones no one will sell. Got a nice Keystone planter last fall, complete in original paint. One board in the bottom of the tray is pretty rotten, but that's it. Thanks for the nice photo. Are you going to get it running? Next year is the big doings up in Adams county and they are featuring potato machinery. Most respectfully, Mike Rock |

Tree,
You might try Norm Macknair out your way. He deals in horse drawn implements out in Lewiston, PA. He knows where everything is, and then some. Great prices too. He does email and is quick. <norman@macknair.com>. Nice website too at <www.macknair.com>. Most respectfully, Mike Rock |

Mike. The potato digger is on the "to do" list-----somewheres. It's all there and decent. Got two tractors in the finishing stages and an EB mower to get done first.

Treecutter,
Looks like there's going to be one coming up for auction at Beiler's: http://www.auctionzip.com/cgi-bin/ph...ry=0&zip=&kwd= Saw one in action a couple of years ago at Jerseyville, IL show. They were pulling it with a 1/2 scale traction engine. Talk about cool! ![]() Mike |

Might you be looking for a walk behind horse drawn potato digger? I have a John Deere walk behind with the shaker behind the scoop and a larger horse drawn Hoover/John Deere like the E-B above. Both for sale as I'm selling most of my horse machinery collection. Had 50 pieces at one time. Sold 4 hay tedders last year. -Had thirteen a while back.
