Batterys for Lincwelder 225 with Onan


Wondering what 12 volt batterys to use so I can Restore lincwelder back to original.

Default Batterys for Lincwelder 225 with Onan

Wondering what 12 volt batterys to use so I can Restore lincwelder back to original.

If this is the red Lincoln welder with the 12 volt battery on each side, I think that is a group 53 battery that was the same as the Chevrolet Corvair automobile and some older Datsuns maybe.

Thanks Gene I will check them out the guy i bought it from has two dead 12 volt truck batterys strapped in it now and in pictures I have seen they are smaller and have outside plates bolted on too hold them in.

Those Batt. ( if you mean the very long and skinny ones )came in International tractors as well as some Linc-weld- the best I ever got was 2 yrs and they were junk. I had both tracs. & lincweld
Unless you are trying for a 100% accurate restoration - convert to a GM or ford style Batt. There a lot cheaper- last a lot longer - not much work to make a good clean installation

Hi if you are looking for the long batts. I buy them through the Farm Bureau Insurance Co. if your not a member ask one of your farmer friends to get them for you they have the best batt. for the price .
