Default Salesman Six Horse Hitch

Here is a picture of a salesman's six horse hitch. From what i understand the salesman would go from farm to farm and show the farmer the different ways to hitch up a horse or multiple horse's.With the harness's that he was selling. It also has the instructions on how to hitch them up.

This is part of the collection at Cedar Valley Memories in Osage Iowa. This musuem is where the big 40 Reeves steam engine is.Alot of people dont know that there is a big collection of pre 1900 horse drawn equipment there. It would be well worth the look for someone that enjoys old implements. If anyone would want a tour sometime just pm me and would be glad to.
