Default WORTHINGTON, technical data and books about it

Hello,

I´m from Germany, and have got an old Worthington, please look at the link below.

http://www.myvideo.de/watch/5967160/...ton_Standmotor

I have no data, and no books or other literature, of the Worthington.

Who can help me with it?

Thanks
Ulrich

While you await responses, try this: Go to search on this site and try Worthington and see what you can find.

I searched Worthington Webster and there was a lot of information to read.

Other search words are possible.

Nice little motor!

Ulrich,

Most manuals available for Worthington engines are for the throttle governed type. Ebay seller L'Ostant Merchantile has a current listing for 2 1/2, 4, 6 & 8 hp T/G Worthington manuals with a Buy It Now of $5.95.

Several months ago they listed a Massey-Harris 1 1/2 & 2 1/2 hp Hit & Miss Type Gasoline Engine manual with a photo of a Type 2 Massey-Harris engine on the cover. Inside were four pages Instructions for Care & Operation , one exploded parts drawing & a page of part numbers for 1 1/2 & 2 1/2 hp Worthington hit & miss engines. The entire manual contains hit & miss Worthington information except for the cover. At one time Massey-Harris sold Worthington engines.

If you email the seller through Ebay they may be able to help.

That's a nice little engine. Try searching Worthington here on Smokstak also be careful buying on e-bay because most parts are in North America and some shippers wont ship over seas because its so expensive.
