On a Cub Original there are a few things that are looked for to know the value. Serial Number, stamped on right of rear end, lower the better. Does it have the original 7 horse with oil bath air cleaner? Does it have the hood ornament? Is the front of the hood bent or cracked? Is the grill with emblem there and in good shape? Is the frame cracked, look where the frame bolts to the rear end? Does it have fenders? Is the pan under the seat the fenders attach to cracked? Look for extra holes drilled in the steering tower. The more original parts the better.
Original cubs can go for a couple hundred for ones with problems to about a thousand if above problems are not present and in real good shape.
I will be willing to make it easy for ya, Will pick it up for $50 and you won't have to worry about it
