Thanks, I am having computer and camera problems. Hope to get straightened out next week. The last movie I made for some reason lost the sound. Some problem with my desk top computer. To bad I had some really good stuff. Just ain't the same without the sound.

Some video editing programs use "non-destructive" editing.
The original file STAYS original........I don't imagine you were that lucky?
Have you tried opening the program to look for a "project" you can reopen?

Thanks, Craig. The sound inputs (red/white) have a problem. I just found out today there are another set of RCA jacks in the back. I don't know if I have a hardware problem or if I lost a driver for the jacks. I use s-video for the picture. I have saved over 40 tapes on the desk top and lost the sound on the next to last one. It saves the video but no sound?
I use my laptop to edit and upload on YouTube. So I'm gonna tear into the desktop apart tommorrow and fixit or kill it.

If you've used those patch cords a lot don't overlook a broken wire.......
I've had earphones go south that way.

I hooked up using the same cords to my TV and it had sound. Sparks are going to fly tommorrow, do or die. It could be over. Now where did I put that screwdriver!!

I recommend KILL... it is so much more cathartic. Wish I could help but I am an x apple user still getting used to the archaic and convoluted systems of the IBM.
