Default No. 10 Vulcan Plow

My uncle just gave me my great grandpa's walking plow. He died in 1912 so it's fairly old. It's a No. 10 Vulcan Plow, does anyone know what the original colors would have been. Now for the kicker, the cast moldboard is cracked top to bottom, anyone know if this can be repaired. I will never use it just want it to be sturdy. Thanks any info on this plow is appreciated. Thanks

Take your plow to a good weld shop. The cast moldboard can be welded.

The Southern Indiana Antique Machinery club owns a NOS Vulcan plow and I think that the plow bottom is school bus yellow with the handles being red (I think). This plow is probably not as old as yours though.

i have recently acquired 3 pieces of horse drawn equipment that has been sitting behind my dads house for at least 20 years .... 2 of them are in fairly rough shape but the vulcan hillside #10 is in decent shape considering the conditions it has been in.... there is actually a few spots of original paint on it and it is a cream color .....

I have two sets of replacement handles for Vulcan plows. They are both red with yellow lettering.
One has Farm Tools Inc. on it. They bought Vulcan Plow. I also have a catalog, but no color pictures. Rgarrett43
