Default POOR SIGNS

Why is it that more shows than not have such poor signs? Do they think everyone lives within 10 miles and knows where the smith farm is? How much effort does it take to put up some good signs for the out of towners pulling a load of engines and the general public. Many people who live right in the area dont even know anything about a show. I put up much better signs for a garage sale than do most shows. Anyone else agree with this?

I've noticed the same thing; it also seems to be a problem with auctions. I know an auction is a one-time affair but you'd think the auctioneer would have some decent-sized signs, if for no other reason than the possibility of increasing his commission if more people are at the sale.

One of the shows I attend finally got some larger signs this year. I don't know what effect the larger signs had on attendance but we had quite a few people show up. I suppose it might have been the fantastic weather this weekend--NAH, probalby the new signs!

And in addition, many shows don't bother to post their shows here on Harry's site so we can all know when and where, let alone how to get there, so we can at least think about attending them!
