Default Titan Two Man Chain Saw

This is my favorite chain saw. I dont know much about these, except I like the heck out of them. The chain is very heavy, much heavier than the chipper chains seem on saws like the big Mall or Mercury. Very attractive opposed twin engine. This is in storage in my loft right now, the pics are so-so and its too muich for one person to carry down the stairs and outside for pics.

Everybody has a favorite this is mine. I was lucky to get a nice example.

WOW she is a beauty! I think I have chainsaw-envy on this one. I know they used Titan c. 1950-1952 one man saws in the lower Adirondacks but I never saw a two man version, real or in literature/pics.

Peter,
I had a Titan like yours in mint condition and boy would it saw. Running full tilt, the chain would move so slowly that you could literally identify each tooth. But the teeth were about 1/2 inch wide, so it made plenty of sawdust.
How well does yours run? My mufflers used to get red hot when running under load. The carburetors had to be kept level, so the bar angle was adjustable.
I have regretted selling that saw many times.

I was never brave enough to try and use it. Clint Eastwood's famous quote come to mind " A man has to know his limitations".

We've got 2 of those. The model is a Blustreak. We mix our oil per instruction--1pt of 50W per gallon. We had both sawing at a show in 2007. It takes them a minute or 2 to get hot enough to burn clean. Once we ran one of them at dusky dark--you could see the flames pouring out both mufflers and the fine sawdust burning off the mufflers put on quite a show.
