Default Rare Tractor & Stationary Engine Auction, June 26/27, 2009

Hi Everyone!

We are going to be holding a large TWO DAY AUCTION
Friday June 26 & Saturday June 27, 2009
3950 Lambton Line, Hwy#21, 4 miles north of Dresden, Ontario, Canada

It features the Lifetime Collection of my late father-in-law Mr. Lorne Harris who loved all things vintage and mechanical. He was well known and respected in our area, and some of his collection is actually on this site, posted by other users. He has a large Stationary Engine collection (60+) including: Fairbanks Morse, Gilson, Goold-Shapley Muir, Wisconsin, Stickney, McKeough & Trotter, Lister, Julien, Bates and Edmonds, Monarch, Nelson Brothers (Jumbo), Stuart (Little-Major), IHC, Mogul, Keighley and more.

He also has a vintage tractor collection which includes some of the Rarest Tractors in the World: Sandusky 10-20J, Eagle 22-45, Empire, Sawyer-Massey 11-22 & 20-40, Cultor, Hart-Parr 18-36, Oliver, Rumley and others. As well as vintage tractor manuals, literature, new old stock, used tractor parts and tools.

There are also many antique vehicles, antiques and memorabilia.

If anyone would like more information, please email me or click this link to the auctioneers site and look under current sales for these dates. http://www.heritageauction.ca

Thanks!

Nicole

Do you think these auctioneers will be taking personal cell phone calls in the middle of bidding ? Maybe its a Canadian thing

Definitely not a Canadian thing...

Adding some new pictures here. We have a McKeough & Trotter 4 hp (Ohio Engine Co.) side-shaft. The Eagle 22-45 still in winter storage. The IHC-M 10 hp on a cart. And a 3.5 hp Brantford Oil Engine. The above list in my previous post is not complete and we are going to be adding to it!

More pictures!

We have the Alpha DeLaval 10 hp with original paint, sumpter mag, and clutch pulley on a cart.

The Famous Vertical Non-pariel with clutch pulley, also on a cart.

The 6 hp Mogul with a clutch pulley on an International cart. This engine has a low serial number.

And finally the Keighley Gas & Oil Engine Co. Ltd. 18-20hp side-shaft Imperial engine. This big beautiful engine was originally manufactured in Keighley, England in the 1920's and exported to Canada where it spent its life in a local canning plant.

Happy viewing!!

A couple of Bull Dogs...

The Stuart

And a big crawling tiler just for fun!

As for the auction results, I am not sure whether or not the auctioneer we hired posts them. Better bring a pen!

For the tractor lovers out there!

We have a Cockshutt 40, a Cockshutt 570, a Ferguson 20-85, and an Industrial Fordson (Detroit Model).

There are other tractors as well, and I will be updating the thread in the coming weeks.

Have a good one!

Another quick installment!

A couple of vintage implements. An antique Hay mower, and antique plow.

A 1926 Model T two door coupe in original condition.

A 1948 Oliver 88 Row Crop in mostly original condition. This is an early model 88. There were only 1300 of this tractor originally manufactured.
