Question Mercotronic Coil Tester

I am new to this part of Smokstak, usually on the engine side. I am looking for help finding a manual for a Model 98 Mercotronic. Anyone have one that would be willing to sell or copy? Will reimburse. I don't know how many of these testers are out there, but I understand they haven't been made since the 60's.?? Thanks, Bill

As of a few years ago they were still making it.I looked them up back then.I need a manual too so if you get one I could split the cost with you and take a copy if you want.

Not sure if I have a manual for the 98 or early or later model. It's not for sale but I'd take it by a office copier and let them copy it if someone wants to pay the cost involved as it's my busy season now so I won't have time to copy or scan it here. It's quite a few pages probably 100 if not more and some supplements as well so not sure if it's even all there. I found a email address for Mercotronic recently too but they never answered emails or their phone when I tried about 6 months ago when seeing some testers for sale on fleabay.

I've got the 98 manual. Everyone who wants a copy contact me so I can get it all done at once. Don't want to make money, just the cost of copying and mailing. Mike

Hi,
I just joined this group and found this thread. I have a model 98 and no manual. I would love to have a copy and would be glad to pay any copy and or shipping costs.

Thanks, Ron C

Thumbs up Re: Mercotronic Coil Tester Manual

I have a mercotronic model 98 also. I do not have a manual
If there is one available I will cover cost to mail/print.
If I get one I can pass it on to other people also.
Dave Tetzloff Thanks

I have a manual for 98 for serial numbers 15,000 and up would consider having copied or just scanning to put on CD in pdf file if Mike hasn't copied some for the rest of you. The basic manual I have is about 130 pages plus two update bulletins from early 1970s for a total of about 165 pages.
