Need help with this 6hp motor


this a pic of my Dads old grist mill engine ( I would like to here it run ) can any one tell me...

Photo Need help with this 6hp motor

this a pic of my Dads old grist mill engine ( I would like to here it run ) can any one tell me anything about it and how and where to get parts. I have the old mill that went with it the last time it was used was in the late 60's Thanks

Steve,
Looks like a 6 Mule Team Associated. From what I can see your missing the magneto, igniter parts, and a trip arm. Place an add in the wanted section here, someone may respond. I looking for a magneto for my associated as well. It will run on battery and coil also. Check with hitnmiss enterprises, they have some used parts. There are people casting new parts for these as well. Good luck, let me know if I can help any furthur.

Contact Bill Graves, 12232 Graves Road, Camden, NY 13316, 315-245-0589. He sells used and repro Associated/United parts. You must call he does not have a computer.

By your serial number yours is a 1913

Here is a great site on these engines.
Go and put in Keith's associated website and bring up lots of info. Serial numbers, paint, etc.
