Default Unidentified Verticle gas engine, Any help would be appreciated.

I bought this engine from a friend and don't know anything about it. It came with a pail full of parts and all the other things you see in the pictures. It has alot of original green paint on it. There are no names anywhere, only a couple numbers in the casting, and those are really hard to make out. It appears to be a two cycle engine as the intake goes right into the main bearing. If anyone might know something on this engine, please let me know. The flywheels are about 18" diameter.

Just a thought, aren't those 1hp Gray/Caille flywheels?

I agree with Rich. A Gray, Caille or Termaat & Monahan from the looks of the flywheels.

Thanks for the info, Do you guys know where I can find out more about that line of engines? I would like to know the age of it and if they are common engines or rare.
