Default Frost and Wood mower info needed

Hello stakers , I need help! But besides that my father is restoring a Frost & Wood mower and he is trying to discover what color it should be. He wants to be accurate since he will also use it at shows when he pulls it with his mules , that all happens on the other side of the barn at our club that I do not visit that often. Any help would be appreciated!

If nothing definate turns up on here, you might try contacting Lynn Miller, who publishes the Small Farmer's Journal. He knows more about mowers than anyone I've ever met, and he's a great guy. The Journal has a website, so you could probably get an address or phone # there.
Good luck!

Petey,
Here is one link:
http://www.livinglandscapes.bc.ca/up...ood/frost.html
They were part of Cockshutt empire for years and Cockshutt liked painting things red! I have seen many F&W mowers around here but I think they were all Ontario rust!
Best of luck,
G.

I am new to the site and what a wealth of information. I recovered a Frost and Woods mower from my neighbour's property last year. I am not well versed on these things but I would like to get the mower operational again. Does anyone have a picture of a resorted mower. I am having trouble with the layout of some of the parts as the tounge was missing when I bought it. thanks

Greg
