Photo Marvel Draw Cut Saw - Found Origional Paint

I am restoring an early Marvel Draw Cut Saw and found original paint on and around the lettering on the saw frame.
There is not a lot but enough to identify. As you can see in the photo the main color is a dark machinery grey (like most of the Armstrong - Blum products) but the surprise was the gold paint on the lettering. This saw is marked "PAT APPL D FOR" and made sometime between 1908 when they applied for the patent and 1912 when it was issued and they started marking them as such. There was no indication of gold on the patent lettering.
I hope this info will be helpful to someone else, I told my wife and got the usual "That's nice dear".... something tells me she wasn't as excited as I was.
Keith

Question Re: Marvel Draw Cut Saw - Found Original Paint

Does anyone happen to know what speed these saws are meant to run? I'm wanting to run it with my IHC LA 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 HP 300 - 500 rpm, 7" pulley. I am restoring this but I've never seen one run. Have you seen one run or do you have a saw that is similar?
Thanks, Keith

UPDATE -
I've been working piece by piece and have everything sandblasted primed and painted except the main frame. With a little luck, that will be blasted during my lunch hour today.
If you have one of these, I would still love to see your photos. I have a couple of points I'm still trying to figure out.
Thanks, Keith
