Default Kohler Engine?

Hi,
I need help with the identity of this Kohler engine, it has not
model tag on it. Castings numbers on the block are (48006 01,
2387, 48 476 01) I need to know model # and hp.
I just purchased it and am trying to mount it in a Jd tractor mower. I think it is probably a 23 or 25 hp engine, out of a Bobcat. Also approximately what value $$ is it. It runs really
good. I need to know if it would be better to sell it and get another one to use.
Thanks
Jerry

Hi there, That looks an awful lot like the K582 Kohler we had in the D-200 Wheel Horse. I believe it was rated at 19.9 But I'm not positive.. It's been a long time since those W-H days.

Sorry, it did not come off a wheel horse, I'm sure it came off a bobcat or something industrial because of the heavy duty exhaust manifold on it. I thought I would get a lot of help to find the hp and model# , but I guess not. Any way with a lot of jerry rigging I have it mounted in my jd 318. Man it has a lot of power , it mows tall grass at engine idle.... I think I'll keep it... Thanks, Jerry
