Not sure what you're telling us here. This is a Fairmont, not a Fairbanks, although F/M did make a speeder car engine also.
Am I missing something (wouldn't be the first time) Ed

Ed you are right it is a Fairmont. I have pictures of Fairbanks speeders and the engine does not look anything like this one.

Fairmont...Fairbanks, Heck!....They both start with the same letter!....Could be a Fairmont-Morris.

Thanks David. I got a good chuckle out of that.

It wouldn't surprise me at all to see a Fairmont-Morris for sale on Ebay.
