Photo Before & After MARVEL DRAW CUT No.1

I finished my Marvel Draw Cut Saw No. 1 today and I think I have more questions about it had when I started. It was rusted solid when I got it and not very pretty.
This saw is marked "PAT APPLIED FOR" but has many differences from both the patent and those marked with the 1912 patent date. I read a reference that mentioned a prototype but didn't elaborate and there was no way to follow it up. If anyone knows anything about the "PAT APPLIED FOR" models, I would appreciate the info.
Oh, and if "No." is the abbreviation for "number", where did the "o" come from?

Kieth,

I have the same saw, I had it belted up to my farmall cub, and used it to cut all the rebar for a house I built for my sister. Sis wanted a house built with ICF forms, so I had to cut quite a few bundles of rebar for that project. If I can hunt up some pictures I will post them.
Your saw looks great, thanks for posting it.
