Briggs & Stratton 2. 3 horse?

hello boys i have a briggs & stratton horz 3/4" shaft with a up draft carb on it the con rod is shot broke off at the crank there is no shroud on it to tell me the type code or model how can i find the right con rod for it with out the model type & year.. thanks brian

Also, post the bore size and estimate the stroke as the rod is broken. Include photo of the carb. and starting sysyem. (rope, recoil, etc.)

Someone should be able to ID the engine from that info.

hello i have a briggs with a broken rod i dont think the shroud is the right one the bore size is 2,3/8 piston is 2,5/16 can someone tell me what horse it is and what rod i should get the numbers on the shroud are model 92902 type 0675-02 code 78071912 here are some photos. thanks brian

most of the 2 3/8 bore engines used a 294367 briggs rod I don't see a 2 5/16 bore on a briggs the 92900 series is a 2.5625 bore. hope this helped.

here are some photos on the rod it looks like a backwards 5 ??i can till how long the rod is to much damage piston is 2.5/16 bore 2.3/8 thanks brian
