Default No output on model 6032-4

Need help on generac generator model no. 6032-4. This unit worked great until I repaired one of the cylinders. When I re-installed the cylinder, the generator did not work and has no power. What do I need to check or replace? This is on my bucket truck. Where is the voltage regulator on this generator?

WW-

The 6032-4 seems to be a somewhat obscure model. The Generac Portable web site did not have it listed in the Manuals download section. If it was supplied by the manufacturer of your bucket truck, then they might have some information.

I wonder if yours is similar to the models made for RVs? There was a discussion here about Generac's Dometic TXP series a few weeks back. The TXP-45 has a model number in the 6000 range. If you can find the TXP manual (50357.pdf), it might be helpful. However it doesn't mention flashing the field, which could be what yours needs.

no regulator, make sure you have 12v dc to small relay in panel, some had a fuse mounted to the relay, you should have a switch to turn the generator on and off, you can hear the relay click, check brushes and slip rings if this sat for any length of time
most parts are not available for that anymore, diodes and brushes only
rotor, stator and reactor coil are nla

if you over speed the engine much you can through the windings out of the rotor
was this unit working with this engine, are you direct connected to engine or belt drive
