Delco Lighting System, Hello one and all, I am new here but have lurked for a while..darned cool site!! I recently re-aquired a Delco lighting system but it sure does not look or sound like the stuff you guys are enjoying. The ID tag is as follows; service no. 504418 , model no. 10PA1 , volts 115, frequency 60 , watts 1000 , amps 8.7 , serial no. 436503 , rpm 1800 , battery amp hr.80 , battery volts 16 , it has a single cylinder engine. A deceased friend removed it from an old farm house waaayyy up north. It has 8 tap leads coming from a service stack pipe and no "panel". So what have I got, an alternator? I don't think it will be any effort getting it running but I don't want to boil any windings running it with no load. Thanx

Can you post a picture? Delco Don is the man you need to ask. I don't know if he gets on the board much or not.
