Default Foothills Antique Power Assoc. Show

The wife and I headed out early this morning for the Foothills Antique Power Show. Craig and I loaded the trailor yesterday afternoon. Was overcast and had a little rain from time to time. Ther was a good turn out of tractors and plenty of engines too. It is always good to see the folks I call my friends,Tony,Gary,Tom,Bill and others. Plenty of tables of doodads and misc. bracketry. We ground some corn and sifted grits and cornmeal.

Had the Saxon pumping water. There were some real nice marine engines there too.

We brought my Mother in law (thats my wifes mother) to the show, it was her first one and she enjoyed it.
I want to thank Tony for the IHC. He is a credit to our hobby/obsession. All in all, it was a good day with some real good folks. Looking foreward to seeing everyone again in Pendleton next month. Now......on to the pics!!

Nah, the "Pendleton Old Farm Days" put on by Ernest and Norman Durham did stop a few years ago. The one mentioned is a fairly new show put on by the McCannon's on hwy 178 just north of I-85 from exit 21. Contact info as listed in the "Old Farm Days Show Calendar (produced by above mentioned Norman Durham) is Steve or Nancy McCannon, 864-244-2391 or www.cedarridgefarm.com

The United engine belongs to Bill Herndon of Kings Mtn., NC. The 2 1/2 Titan is Tommy Berry's of Kings Mtn and the 3 HP Titan vertical belongs to Ray Medford of Gastonia, NC.
