Metal Polish


Hi All, What do you blokes use to polish your brass etc,? I have tried lots of products...

Hi All,
What do you blokes use to polish your brass etc,?
I have tried lots of products over the years, but never come across one this good (Mirror Finish)

It's hard to beat Brasso. On other stuff thats, well, really tarnished, bad, I use a solution called ISSO case cleaner, I get it from Cabelo's. It will take all the dead stuff off in about 5 minutes, but you must immerse it completely for that time. Then I buff it on a cotton wheel with some white compound and it gets like new. Some work, but the results are good. Afterwards, Brasso will clean it back up in about 3 minutes or so, with some rubing. Perhaps others will chime in on their method.

Its good old pashion rubbing and time to polish up the brass but when heat gets to it i just have the brasso rag for a quick touch up every so often...
I thought i could cheat with a small buffing wheel on a dremal hand tool jigger but havnt tried it yet....

i use a polish called purple polish
works great.
