Default Old Hobart gas driven welder with 2 cyl Wisconsin

Hello I just acquired a Hobart gas driven welder. The tag says it is a model#G-235 with a Wisconsin WTSC THD-2. It is an electric start model. My question is about the battery and about any avalible manuals. Is the required battery 6volt or 12 volt? is it positive ground or negative ground? any avalible manuals? Thanks The tag also reads specs 4130 ser. AAW46778

Hobart has a site also. The owners manuals and product literature are under the service & support section.

Hobart Manuals

Hobart Welders
http://www.hobartwelders.com/

Should be a tag on your starter or generator that states 6V or 12V. Your engine is a Wisconsin THD model. Manuals for it can be downloaded from the Wisconsin Motors site.

Hi I just bought a G 213 powered by a TJD Wisc. I'm trying to find out if mine is 12V or 24V? Mine also starts through the armature. I would love to ask you more questions if you have the same machine. Thanks
