this engine was built by walter metor of kansas city mo. haston stclair helped walter build this engine. the boiler tube is 14inches in dia. the cylinders were cast the mainframes welded steel. used the clay valve gear. the gearing was john deere B bull gears. this was walter,s second engine he built. he sure liked to chrome things !.
happy steaming to the owner. david jowett

the engine had to have been built in 1986 or 1987.morris hamland of holden mo. built the boiler. 14 inch barrel, 5/16 steel in the fire box, 3/8 flue sheets, 2inch flues, 1/2inch stay bolts. morris built two at the same time i have the other under a half size13hp reeves model. hope this helps david jowett.
