Default Zenith carbs used on late 20's Fordsons

Anyone have any info on Zenith downdraft carbs used on late model 1920's English Fordson engines? Need to know the gas flow on these units. Have two carbs for a friend that both have problems. One has an extra hole bored in the throat that is not supposed to be there-lets gas straight into the engine when it is not running. Apparently drilled there by someone taking the brass plugs out to clean it. (not me!) The other does not have this hole but I suspect other problems in the unit. This carb has been in carb cleaner and glass beaded to clean out the rust. Neither adjustable needles seem to do any good. That's why the request for gas flow. These carbs are off a Model N Fordson used in a Wilford shovel unit. Thanks in advance, Larry.
