It would appear that our eBay Ad links are having a near death experience. Google Ads are not far behind them. The final straw will be a subscription only web site?

I'd put a sticky in every forum about USING the Ebay buttons HERE instead of using a shortcut......I always go to Ebay through Stak.......

G o o g l e Ads are different.......can't say I click on those either.......

I may be going out on a limb but if you can also subscribe to Staks I hope that it will also help support a site that I truly love and I know you do to!

I know money is tight for everyone but something needs to be done. Staks does not need to loose the experience and knowledge that all it's members add to it everyday if it has to go to subscription only!

Putting advertising on a web site is a tough call. We've been through Barnes & Noble, Amazon, Walmart, Northern Tool, Eastwood and a dozen that I can't remember. When they hit dead zero, I pull them off. Google and eBay are what's left. The hotel thing on the calendar page is a loser and I haven't had time to yank it. I don't have an ad research department to tell me what to run so I make a guess. Don't worry, we aren't going anywhere.

Money is tight for everyone, but when money is tight, folks usually sell some stuff. I think this is more a case of eBay pi$$ing off their users over some of the eBay/PayPal recent policy changes.

Harry, I was just informed of what you are talking about with the link thing. I am on dialup which really puts the brakes on as far as time and navigating, and as far as compooters go, I'm stupid, I actually had no clue of the need of doing this, because of time and knowledge I did not do it.

I just left feedback, through the link off of STAKS, and will from here on out, thanks for letting us know of another way we can help you and STAKS.

One other thing. If you sell something on this site pay the man a few bucks. Its OK to be tite but dont use someone else for your own gain.
