Yes it is pretty cool. Is it my monitor or the fact that I was working with oil based paint all day, does the speedo go up to 50 MPH? Some one has done a great amount of nice work on this nice little repro. The grille and the trunk are fast givaways.

Wow someone bid $3500 on the little racer!
Their was an article in GEM awhile ago about someone making a Maytag Racer? Does anyone know which issue it is? Okay I am to lazy to go through my brothers pile of Gems to see what issue it is! Could this be the same racer? Danny J

one of my cutomers has the one her dad bought her in 1939.original receipt and all.i recently cleaned it up for her because she is donating it to the museum in new london texas where it was bought new.
