Interesting vintage stationary engine


While perusing the ebay pages i ran across this stationary engine. Not sure what it is. Looks...

Default Interesting vintage stationary engine

While perusing the ebay pages i ran across this stationary engine. Not sure what it is. Looks like it would make a good find for a real collector.

Not sure what its worth. I dont even know what the brand name is.

eBay auction # 310159797179 was mistakenly listed as a steam engine, and someone already corrected them that it was a gas engine with the spark plug and fuel tank. I just contacted them to also let them know that it is a "freelance" model that was welded up from plate steel and heavy pipe, and may or may not even be based on a real engine.

Kind of neat but shouldn't really bring that much for what it is. Although it is One Of A Kind, so that may make it worth more to some people....

Sold for $351.76 with 20 bids on it.

Probably about right for a freelance that nobody know's what it was based on.
